Operations

Russel operates the largest service center operation in Canada.  We process and distribute products to a broad base of approximate 18,000 customers through a network of 58 locations across Canada.  In addition, we have twelve U.S. locations.  Our network or service centers carries a broad line of metal products in a wide range of sizes, shapes and specifications, including carbon hot rolled and cold finished steel, merchant bars, angles, flats, pipe and tubular products, stainless steel and aluminum.

Our service centers provide products and services to end users in a wide variety of industries, including machinery and equipment manufacturing, construction, shipbuilding and natural resources such as mining and petroleum.

Canadian Operations
Within Canada, our steel service centers operate under the names Russel Metals,  Russel Metals Specialty Products ,  A. J. Forsyth, Milspec Strapping Systems, Mégantic Métal, Acier Leroux, Acier Loubier, York-Ennis and  Acier Richler .

U.S. Operations
Our U.S. service center operations are conducted under the names Russel Metals Williams Bahcall , Baldwin International and JMS Russel Metals Corp.  The Williams Bahcall operation focuses primarily on the distribution of general line carbon products through three facilities in Wisconsin. Baldwin International distributes specialty alloy products through its facility in Ohio. JMS Russel Metals Corp. distributes steel and aluminum products through nine locations in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee and Texas.
